John will be the first to tell you that he’s not a pro. Photography is a passion, and he spends an awful lot of his time when not working at his "day job" messing around with his cameras and the images he captures. He has spent most of his life in Rhode Island and nearby New England, so it shouldn’t be a surprise that his work centers around everything nautical, including lighthouses, seascapes and of course the many sailing regattas that come to Newport, RI. When not on the water, John can often be found roaming the sidelines of some not-so-mainstream sporting events like polo and rugby. He also enjoys the challenge of night photography on occasion. John’s work has been published in newspapers, used to illustrate web-based articles, promote events and has appeared in several advertisements.
