Astrophotography Webinar with SIGMA Ambassador Jack Fusco

Getting ready for Astro Photography. The goal of this lecture is for you to leave fully prepared and ready to shoot the stars on your own. Jack will be guiding you through the basics of astrophotography while also discussing some more advanced approaches. Jack will also review some basic astronomy information that will help you plan and capture great images of the stars.

  • Planning & Scouting – Before we take a great image, we need to know when and where to take it.
  • Camera Settings & Techniques – Learn how to best take advantage of your equipment and dial in your approach.
  • Composition Tips – What to look for in the field?
  • Shooting Styles – Determining the best approach for different locations, compositions and the gear you’re shooting with. We’ll talk about single exposures, stacking images and blending foreground and sky images.
  • Open Q & A + Discussion
