Both of these shots of Buttermilk Falls at Washington Valley Park in Bridgewater, NJ were made hand-held at 1/10 second, ISO 100, f/18 with a Circular polarizer and 1-stop Neutral Density in front of the lens. At right, we have Optical Stabilization active on the Sigma 18-250mm superzoom lens mounted on a Canon EOS Rebel XTi, and and left, it is turned off. As you can see, with OS activated, our rocks and still objects in the frame are sharp and crisp, and at right without OS, everything in the image is a bit of a blur.
