You’ve asked, and we’ve answered. PCU is returning in 2020 with our strongest line-up of world-class photo educators ever – all delivered to the safety and comfort of your home, virtually on September 26th and 27th.
Virtual – Our New Reality
This year, like everything, PCU will be a little different. We have more than 10 top-tier educators lined up to deliver breakout sessions over the course of the weekend in our virtual classrooms. We’ll also host three general sessions each day that will feature opportunities to interact with reps from all of our partnering brands, including Sigma 🙂 as well as a keynote address from one of our educators, all in our virtual ballroom.
Trade Show
Each day, you will have plenty of opportunity to interact with reps from all of our partnering brands! During our three general sessions each day, grab a spot at clearly labeled brand table and video chat directly with brands like Sony, Nikon, Canon and more. Tables are limited to five virtual seats, to keep the chats intimate.
Social as Ever
PCU attendees of the past know the event is as much about networking and hanging out with like-minded folks as it is about learning and growing as image makers. We have worked hard to make sure that element is alive and well. We’ll have a virtual happy hour on Saturday night with a streaming music performance and plenty of time for your group to grab a virtual table and chat with fellow attendees. And we’ve got more social opportunities in the works.
I’m No Computer Wiz!
Intimidated by the technology and streaming aspects? Don’t worry, we’ve worked out all the kinks. All you need to participate fully is a robust internet connection and a device that has a webcam. We’ll send out a comprehensive guide to participants prior to the event with technical requirements, best practices, direction on how to get support and more.
Telling Your Client’s Story with Hiram Trillo

In a day full of chaos and unknowns it can be challenging to find a thread to tie it all together. In this class, Sigma Ambassador, Hiram Trillo will find a way to tell your couple’s story of their wedding day. With a mixture of photojournalism and portraiture you can capture the essence of the day. We will go through and entire wedding from beginning to end to learn how to find the details for couples that will make it their own. Sigma will offer savings at Precision Camera.
About Hiram
Hiram Trillo is a professional wedding photographer and Sigma Ambassador based in Fort Worth who has been shooting weddings internationally for 8 yrs. Through out his career he has won multiple international awards as well as being named one of the top 50 wedding photographers in the world. His look at every wedding is more than just recording an event; each wedding is a blank canvas for which he wants to create original pieces for each couple. He strives to capture you as you are simple, beautiful, and timeless.
