Nightscaper Photo Conference
Shoot for the Stars
It all began with that moment you first observed something in dark skies that took your breath away. Perhaps it was an eclipse, seeing the broad swath of the Milky Way or even a meteor flashing by in sound and light. But it sparked something within you and now you want more.
You might be a photographer in search of a way to capture these moments and feelings. Or you may be in the sciences and studying to learn and share more about our universe. Or someone who simply enjoys being outdoors in the dark and contemplating just how amazing and incomprehensibly massive our existence is.
We gather to share what we have done, how we did it and what we learned. We share techniques, we pass along the craft and we discuss new findings that drive us forward in our quest, personal or public, to broaden our knowledge and to fan the flames of this wonderful feeling we get when looking at the night sky.
