Nature Photography and Stewardship of the Environment

Do you want to take better images out in nature? Are you unsure where to start? Do you spend most of your time outdoors, photographing in the woods and deserts of Oregon? Itching to learn something new?

Join Pro Photo Supply, Oregon Wild & SIGMA for a webinar about nature photography and stewardship of the environment!

This webinar covers the basics of how to get started! It covers:

  • Finding locations
  • Deciding what equipment you’ll want to take on your outings
  • Tips on exposure to help you capture images you’ll be happy to share

You’ll also cover things to consider while you’re out photographing in nature. Aaron Norberg, nature photographer and NW Tech Rep for SIGMA, will provide some information on the basics of landscape and nature photography. You might learn something new!

Join Chandra LeGue, Senior Conservation Advocate for Oregon Wild and author of “Oregon’s Ancient Forests: A hiking guide.” She will discuss how to be a good steward while out exploring and photographing the wonderful environments outdoor enthusiasts get to enjoy. Following the presentation, Oregon residents are invited to meet up in person for a guided hike around Boulder Lake on Mount Hood. Aaron and Chandra, along with staff from Pro Photo Supply, will be on hand to help you apply lessons learned during the presentation out in the field. Attendees of the in-person hike will also have access to a limited number of loaner lenses from SIGMA.
