Macro Photography at Home with Glazer’s Camera

In our first session on Saturday, February 13th, Brett will teach you his tips and tricks to help you learn the basics of macro photography and how to utilize them at home, whether in your yard or your living room. He’ll talk about necessary equipment, camera settings and tips that will have you producing great macro shots in your own surroundings.
Following this informative session, Brett will share a short list of photo challenges designed to help you apply techniques covered in the presentation to your own photography. During our second session on Saturday, February 20th, we’ll review everyone’s images made in response to the photo challenges and offer constructive feedback. Through participating in this online workshop, you’ll receive foundational instruction in how to improve your macro photography with time to apply that new knowledge into practice, and with both peer and instructor feedback. Our objective for this workshop is to help you to identify and capture great macro images from your own surroundings that you’ll be happy to share with others. Brett Wells has worked in the field of photography for over 25 years. He has a masters degree in photography from the University of Westminster, London, UK. He taught at the Art Institute of Atlanta for 7 years and currently teaches classes and workshops around the United States. His work has been published and exhibited in this country and abroad.
Brett is a Technical Representative for Sigma Corporation of America, supporting Sigma, photographers and photographic education around the country.
