Are you interested in taking better images out in nature, but not sure where to start? Join SIGMA Tech Rep Aaron Norberg at Pro Photo Supply for a two-part introduction into the wide world of landscape photography!

Part 1 consists of a virtual presentation covering the basics of how to get started in finding locations, the equipment you’ll want to take on your outings, and tips on exposure to help you capture images you’ll be happy to share.

Following the presentation, in Part 2, we’ll meet up in person for a guided hike to Wahlclella Falls in the Columbia River Gorge. Photographer and Sigma tech rep, Aaron Norberg along with staff from Pro Photo Supply will be on hand to help you apply lessons learned during the presentation out in the field. Attendees of the in-person workshop will also have access to a limited number of loaner lenses from Sigma.

Wahclella Falls Trail is an easy 1.9 mile out and back trail with a total elevation gain of 223 ft (see map below). It is located near Cascade Locks, Oregon. This trail features a waterfall and is good for all skill levels. The trail offers a number of activity options and is accessible year-round.

Participants will be expected to provide their own transportation to and from Wahclella Falls or arrange carpooling with other participants. A NW Forest Pass or Day Park permit is required and day passes will be provided for those without a Forest Pass.

To get to Wahclella Falls from Portland, follow I-84 E/US-30 E to Yeon State Park. Take exit 40 from I-84 E/US-30 E. Turn right onto Yeon State Park.
