SIGMA Ambassador Heather Larkin shares tips and tricks on macro photography, then leads a macro photography walk to practice your new skills. The lecture portion will cover macro photography composition, gear options, easy-to-learn tips on finding interesting subjects and wildlife, and simple post-processing.
Then you’ll head to an ideal location to practice, where you’ll have an opportunity to test SIGMA loaner gear and learn how to find tiny critters or interesting flowers.
A Guide to Winning Kids Over
with SIGMA Ambassador Heather Larkin
Forget all that stuffy posing and fake “cheese” smiles! Heather has 25 years of preschool teaching and photographer experience to share on how to get the best photos of kids ever.
Learn how to “unpose” kids by sitting them how you want them and then distracting them with silly questions, comments and games that get real smiles and genuine interaction. Learn what methods work with what ages, and watch Heather work with children she has never met and take them from shy to shining.
Brainstorm Your Next Styled Shoot Theme
