Nicolas Datiche & Xavier Andujar

A Photographer's Collective based in Japan. Founded by Xavier Andujar, Nicolas Datiche and Fred Mery since 2022. Coming from different horizons, Bolstered by their own experience in Asia, each of the photo collective members have developed an expertise allowing them to work on complex and various topics, in autonomy. While taking into consideration the region's cultural particularities, they can work on a vast array of stories, staying away from the usual stereotypes. Different point of view but one goal: to document life. Photo and Video documentarist Nicolas Datiche is a french photojournalist and video documentarist based in Japan since 2013 as correspondent for french press agency - Sipa Press. His project "JOURNEYS TO SCHOOL" regarding Northeast Japan earthquake and Tsunami was featured at UNESCO and United Nations group exhibitions in New York. He currently works on daily news coverage as well as on long term projects regarding geisha in Aizu, women sumo and cultural and society events take place in Taiwan. Photographer He works mainly in the field of documentary photography. Since his move to Japan, he has worked as a tour guide for French speaking people, showing unknown aspects of the country and focusing on what makes Japanese society and its people so unique.What he has learned from this job serves him to document the life and evolution of Japanese society for a long term project. In 2022 he co-founded the collective called Koga Photos.
