Maike Wittreck

Outdoor & Travel Photographer Maike Wittreck is a photographer based in Bielefeld, Western Germany. Wintry mountains make her happy, the sound of the ocean is her favourite tune, and she believes that there's no artist more skilled than nature herself. She merely tries to freeze her artwork for generations to come, showcasing how beautiful yet fragile our home is. Maikes love for photography was sparked in 2013 when she travelled and lived in Aotearoa, New Zealand for a year. Ever since her camera has been her companion on many an adventure to places near and far. When she's not out exploring forests and mountains you can find her on the couch with her dog, her guitar and a decent helping of Kaiserschmarrn.
