Filmmaker Isabela Zawistowska took a variety of SIGMA lenses to Puerto Rico to capture scenes of a dedicated community restoring electricity access with a solar microgrid system.
Isabela is an adventure documentary filmmaker based in Southern California. She began filming rock climbers in the Eastern Sierra, while living in a van full time in 2020. Since then she’s worked with individuals and nonprofits based in Afghanistan, Puerto Rico, and the U.S. to help tell their stories. She’s excited to continue filming and directing documentaries that tell the personal stories of people's lives in the outdoors, as well as covering important humanitarian and environmental issues.
