A Snowy Egret takes flight at the pond at Horseshoe Cove, Sandy Hook. I was able to quickly and easily track this shy subject as it moved about the pond due to the hand-holdable nature of the Sigma 120-400mm paired with a Canon EOS Rebel XTi. 1/1000 F5.6 ISO 400 at 400mm.
