Usually this Monastery (Chuang Yen Monastery) is very busy and hard to get a shot with out having people in the picture. Luckily I got off work early and headed there thinking I might have a shot at photographing the place with nobody around, my luck there was not a car in the parking lot. This image is HDR, and the new sigma lens ROCKS!
I have grown up on photography, learned from my father who was a photographer and owned a camera store for 19 years. I specialize in Macro, Nature ,Wildlife, Models , and Still Life. The last 8 years I have been photographing abandoned buildings and the remains that are left behind. I have been in a few galleries and have sold many pieces. I currently took 4th place in the Photographers Forum Best of Photography 2010, sponsored by Sigma Corp. I am being published in the hard cover book which is being distributed to Art and Photography school across the world. Also My photo will be published in the Photographers Forum Magazine Winter edition. I also took week 1 in Peter Lik’s contest on the Weather Channel.
I have learned Photoshop digital editing on my own and specialize in HDR.
