Sigma is saying.

One of the reasons to carry your camera with you everywhere is so you can make a photograph when the opportunity happens. Last summer I was in Austin, Texas enjoying the music of the Bluebonnets. After their set, a couple of really big guys helped a frail old man to the keyboard. I was right up front when Pinetop Perkins the last of the first generation delta bluesmen started to play. The music was magical and the experience singular. I raised my camera and made this photograph with the Sigma 10-20mm f/3.5 zoom. I was ready. Pinetop looked into the lens. I pressed the shutter release. It was truly a once in a lifetime opportunity for me.
Pinetop Perkins died March 21. Read more in the New York Times.
